I am so excited that it is finally time for Spring Break. The kids are out of school and the weather is nice so we decided to go to visit my folks for the week. I couldn’t get the whole week off from work but since my parents have wi-fi I can work while I am here. On the days I have to work my parents are going to take the kids sightseeing. Because I grew up here, I’ve been all the places they will go but I’m excited for them to experience the things I did as a child. The one thing I will have to fit in to my schedule to go with them to is a White Sox game. As a die hard fan, I could never miss an opportunity to go to a game! However, I spent plenty of time as a young person on the Navy Pier. I know the kids will enjoy the ferris wheel and there are plenty of other things to do there that will take up a whole day leaving me time to get some work done.

Saving A Bundle
This guest post from Walter Horn
There was no doubt that after the purchase of our new home we were going to have to stick to a rigid budget. We knew it was all going to be really worth it. The new home was in our favorite neighborhood nestled inside the very best school zone. It is without a doubt going to be a home we will live in for a minimum of ten years. It has everything we had hoped for from the open floor plan to tons of outdoor living space. As we began setting up the utilities, we came across directv bundles and were shocked at the money we could save. We immediately signed up and making sure to tell all our friends to check it out as well. Now onto the other areas of savings which unfortunately, wasn’t as easy to abide by as our bundle. I am getting better with the grocery bills and my husband has become a lunch packing maniac. Thank goodness the new home came with a pantry the size of a walk-in closet! We keep it filled up with money saving snacks & supplies.
